Through the self-funded project "European presence for Klimatledande Processindustri through Processes4Planet", Climate-leading Process Industries and the West Sweden Chemicals and Materials Cluster have connected to the extensive European network A.SPIRE and its program Processes4Planet (https://www.aspire2050.eu/p4planet/about-p4planet). The ambition is to enhance knowledge transfer between the networks and to develop opportunities for members of the West Sweden Chemicals and Materials Cluster to broaden their international contacts and abilities to apply for large-scale European funding.

Processes4Planet is an integrated part of the EU research and innovation program Horizon Europe, working to transition the European process industry. Among other things, the program advises the European Commission and issues its own research and innovation funding calls through Horizon Europe in the scale of many millions of euros. A.SPIRE currently represents more than 180 industrial and research stakeholders from more than 20 European countries related to process-industry sectors such as chemicals, petroleum, pulp and paper, cement, steel, metals and water management.

Within Processes4Planet, discussions are now underway that will shape future calls from the program. Through Climate-leading Process Industries, there is an opportunity for those who work at member organizations of the West Sweden Chemicals and Materials Cluster to get informed on the discussions and to provide input. At this event, we will provide an overview of what Processes4Planet is, its ongoing work, and describe how you as a member of the West Sweden Chemicals and Materials Cluster can get involved. Subsequently, through a roundtable discussion, we discuss which input should be sent from the West Sweden Chemicals and Materials Cluster to the ongoing discussions on upcoming calls within Processes4Planet. This invitation is addressed to everyone employed at a member organization within the West Chemicals and Materials Cluster.

Welcome!

Please note: the event will be held in English!
