Cost/benefit analysis for implementation of digitization/RTO technology at MEVA Energy
Digitization of the industry and implementation of Industry 4.0 are expected to fundamentally change how chemical industries will be operated in the future. Although the technologies are available today, the pace of implementation of digitization is slow.
Many companies in the process/chemical industry have not identified how to implement "digitalization" in their production facilities. This project aims to be used as a case study to investigate the cost/benefit of implementing 'digitisation' to the MEVA process. The project is carried out in English and has the title: Cost/Benefit Analysis for implementation of digitalization /RTO technology at MEVA Energy.
The results from the project and the methodology used to carry out the preliminary study are presented both within and outside the West Swedish Chemical and Materials Cluster, with the aim of encouraging more companies to develop their digital production processes.
With this project, a better understanding of how the implementation of digitization can benefit the respective companies within the Cluster and other stakeholders, for example, cogeneration companies in the region, is developed.
